A joint meeting of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) was held on Tuesday at CPB office in the city. In the meeting the speakers urged the government to take effective measures for the payment of arrear salaries and festival bonus of the employees of Swan Garments before Eid-ul-Fitr. The meeting was addressed, among others, by BSD General Secretary Comrade Khalequzzaman and CPB General Secretary Comrade Syed Abu Jafar Ahmed. CPB President Comrade Mujahidul Islam Selim presided over the programme.
