A discussion on ‘Ongoing politics ‘organised by Bangabandhu Academy was held in the auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh in the city’s Kakrail recently. Awami League Advisory Council member Suranjit Sengupta, MP was present as the chief guest. While addressing Suranjit said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi advanced much in the matter relating to the Teesta Agreement during his Bangladesh visit. He quoted Narendra Modi as saying that a settlement could possibly be reached in regard to Teesta Agreement. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Dhaka City Awami League Vice-President Faezuddin Miah, Joint General Secretary Haji Md Selim and Samyabadi Dal leader Haroon Chowdhury. Adviser of the organisation Emdadul Huq Selim presided over the programme.
