A joint meeting of the advisory council, presidium members and executive committee of Bangladesh Tariqat Federation was held at its Sobhanbagh office in the city on Monday with its Chairman Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizbhandari in the chair.While addressing Nazibul said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami must be banned on charge of patronizing militants in the country. “The government has to impose ban on Jamaat-e-Islami, through an executive order, for patronizing militant outfits,” he added.
