United Labour Foundation
A rally organised by United Labour Foundation was held in front of the Jatiya Press Club in the city on Friday. In the rally the speakers demanded to ensure security of the workers at their work places and proper wages. The event was addressed, among others, by labour leaders Arif Chowdhury, Tapon Saha, Murshida Akhtar, Mala Rani and Nahid Sultana. Labour leader Comrade Abul Hosain presided over the programme. The leaders also demanded to formulate law for ensuring rights of workers irrespective of male and female and regularization of their services. The rally paraded different streets of the city.
