A rally organised by Rural Journalist Foundation (RJF) was held on Wednesday in front of the Jatiya Press Club in protest against death threat to special correspondent of 71 Television Farzana Rupa. In the event the speakers also demanded exemplary punishment to those responsible for sexual harassment to women at TSC area of Dhaka University on the day of Pahela Baishakh celebration. The rally was addressed, among others, by RJF General Secretary Milton Khan, General Secretary of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote Arun Sarker Rana and Vice-Chairman of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Central Command Council Ismat Kadir Gama. RJF city unit President Hasan Siddiqui Sunny presided over the programme.
