Liberation War-’71
A discussion organized by Sector Commanders’ Forum Liberation War ’71 was held at Poet Sufiya Kamal auditorium in the city marking the historic ‘Mujibnagar Day’. Sector Commanders’ Forum Chairman AKM Shofi Ullah was present as the chief guest. While addressing he urged the country’s new generation to know the real history of the Liberation War and stop its distortion. The event was addressed, among others, by Barrister Shorab Hossain, Mahbub Uddin Ahmed Bir Protik, freedom fighter Sultan Mahbubur Rahman Badal and Vice-President of the forum’s Dhaka divisional unit architecture Mobshwar Hossain. Abul Kalam Azad, President of the forum presided over the programme.
