Swechchhasebok League
A rally organised by Swechchhasebok League was held at Gulshan-2 intersection in the city on Thursday. Awami League Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim was present as the chief guest. While addressing Selim hinted at that the people engaged in the acts of sabotage to face ‘encounters’ in a bid to rein in violence.Branding the BNP as a militant outfit, he said BNP has to be tried like that of militant outfits in other countries. He said there will be no talks with the BNP-Jamaat as they have been unleashing violence with the blood of people in hand. The rally was addressed, among others, by President of the organisation Molla M Abu Kawsar and its General Secretary Pankaj Debnath.
