A discussion on ‘Mass Upsurge Day of ’69 and present political state’ organised by Jatiya Swadhinata Party was held on Saturday at Biruttam Khwaza Nizamuddinn Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity with its Chairman Moazzem Hossain Khan Majlish in the chair. While addressing Moazzem expressed his grave concern over the present political situation in the country. He urged the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take necessary step to solve the ongoing problem immediately for the greater interest of the country and its people. The discussion was addressed, among others, by NDP Chairman Alamgir Majumder, Islamic Party’s Chairman Abdur Rashid Prodhan, Secretary General of Bangladesh Muslim League Atiqul Islam and Vice-Chairman of NAP Bhasani Abdul Hye Sarker. The speakers also urged the government not to increase price of gas and electricity.
