A policy dialogue on ‘Disability and Employment’ organised by Bangladesh Visually Impaired People’s Society (BVIPS) was held at Azimur Rahman Hall of the The Daily Star Bhaban in the city. Former Law Minister Abdul Matin Khasru, MP was present as the chief guest. While speaking Khasru said people with disabilities are the part of the society. So, we all have to come forward for their development and also their employment. The dialogue was addressed, among others, by Joint Secretary of the Labour and Employment Ministry AKM Fazlul Haque, Executive Director of Center for Disability in Development AHM Noman Khan and President of the organisation Mosharraf Hossain Majumder. BVIPS Executive Member Rahima Patwari presented the keynote paper while its General Secretary Saidul Haque delivered the welcome speech.
