Nat’l Council for Handicapped Women
A seminar on ‘Employment of challenged women” organised by the National Council for Handicapped Women was held on Tuesday at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity. State Minister for Women and Children’s Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki, MP, was present as the chief guest. While speaking Chumki said that the government of Sheikh Hasina laid great emphasis on the rights of the physically challenged people. It had reserved quotas for them in government offices. Mosammat Nasima Akhtar, president of the council presided over the seminar.
