Bangladesh Road Transport Workers’ League
A rally organised by Bangladesh Road Transport Workers’ League (BRTWL) was held in front of Awami League central office in the city’s Bangabandhu Avenue on Saturday. In the rally leaders of the organisation demanded implementation of its 12-point demand including imposition of a ban on the politics of Jamaat-Shibir. They alleged that BRTA creates barriers on various pleas for issuance of drivers’ licenses.The leaders opined that BRTA should be more sincere in issuance of drivers’ licenses. They also urged the government to stop the evil activities of the organisation of pro-BNP & Jamaat transport workers. BRTWL President Md Wahiduzzaman presided over the rally, also addressed, among others, by Dhaka City Awami League Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Abdul Huq Sabuj, BRTWL General Secretary Insur Ali and Executive President Rafiqul Islam Rafique.
