Children Rights Advocacy Coalition
A discussion marking the silver jubilee celebration of UN children rights charter organised by Children Rights Advocacy Coalition in Bangladesh was held at BIAM auditorium in the city with Action Aid Bangladesh Country Director Farah Kabir in the chair. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present as the chief guest. While speaking Inu said that stern action would be taken against those who would use children in drug trafficking and militant activities. He called upon the political leaders not to use children in political activities, saying don’t put children on streets closing the institutions for reception. Shamsul Islam of Save the Children read out the keynote paper.
