Jatiya Ganotantrik League
A rally jointly organised by Jatiya Ganotantrik League, Kazi Aref Foundation, Bangladesh Online Activists Forum, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote and Bangabandhu Shishu Kalyan Parishad was held on Thursday in front of the National Press Club. In the rally the speakers demanded immediate execution of the death penalty and arrest of the fugitive killers in connection with the murder of Kazi Aref Ahmed, one of the organiser of the Liberation War. The present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to establish the rule of law and the death penalty awarded to the killers will soon be executed, speakers added. Leaders of the organisations also offered special prayer for salvation of the departed soul of Aref.
