Shahbagh Hawkers Kalyan Sangstha
A rally organized by Shahbagh Hawkers Kalyan Sangstha was held in front of the National Press Club in the city on Wednesday with the its President Ramzan Ali in the chair. In the rally the speakers bitterly criticized the eviction of hawkers from in front of the Bangabadhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and BIRDEM Hospital in Shahbagh without their rehabilitation. They urged the authority concerned to rehabilitate the hawkers to maintain their livelihood. The rally was addressed, among others, by General Secretary of the sangstha Mohammad Sumon, President of Bharatia Parishad Baharaine Sultan Bahar and Executive President of Bangladesh Chhinnamul Hawkers Samity Abdullah-al-Mamun.
