Bangladesh Red Crescent Society organized a three-day 5th Dhaka Divisional Youth Red Crescent Campaign at Bangladesh International Tutorial playground in the city’s Uttara on Friday with its chairman Professor Dr MS Akbar, MP in the chair. State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was present as the chief guest.The programme was addressed, by Chairman of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, Professor Taslima Begum and Secretary General of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society BMM Mazharul Haque as the special guests. While addressing Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the allegations raised by BNP against law enforcement agencies are baseless, false and fabricated. ‘The BNP intentionally raised fake, baseless and fabricated allegations against law enforcement agencies regarding killing and arrest.’ The State Minister said the BNP-Jamaat jointly killed a large number of innocent people and policemen across the country in the name of hartal. ‘Politics is not meant for killing people,’ Kamal said.
On Sagor-Runi murder case, he said, ‘We are trying to investigate into the case properly for ensuring justice on behalf of the government.’
