UNB, Dhaka :The operation of all kinds of flight- domestic and international-of United Airways BD Ltd will remain suspended from Thursday.The announcement came at a press conference held at the company’s head office at the capital’s Uttara on Wednesday evening. Senior officials of the private carrier were present.At the press conference, officials of the airlines said the board of the company on Monday appointed Mohammad Mahatabur Rahman as the chairman following the resignation of Tasbirul Ahmed Chowdhury. Tasbirul served the company as chairman and managing director since its inception in 2007.Besides, the board made Shahinoor Alam acting managing director on the same day.However, both Mahtabur and Shahinoor abstained from joining the official work in the last two days, leading to a management crisis in the company that formed it to suspend the flight operation on the domestic and international routes.
