“Vote me out if you want,” says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in an apparent response to Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim’s statement that the prime minister should be changed.
“A Prime Minister cannot be simply changed, only the people can change me with their votes,” he told a press conference here before heading home Sunday today. Dr Mahathir was commenting on a video of Tunku Ismail as saying that the prime minister should be changed. The 93-year-old premier had arrived Beijing on Wednesday, April 24, for a five-day working visit to attend the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF).
