Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated online weekly news portal “Samvabona” from Bianibazar in Sylhet.
The inaugural function of the news portal was held in the auditorium of International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) in the city on Friday, an official press release said.
Acting Editor of the Daily Samakal Mustafiz Shafi, Chief Engineer of the Department of Education Engineering Dewan Mohammad Hanjala, journalists and officials, among others, addressed the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Nahid hoped the news portal “Samvabona” will project different success stories of development, which would supplement the efforts of the government for building “Digital Bangladesh”.
