With the view to reaching e-service to the doorsteps of people, online Educational Institution Identification Number (EIIN) programme and the education directory application were launched here today.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated the services at a function at Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) Conference Centre.
The minister said the launching of online EIIN service would enable educational institutions get the services in their respective areas and lessen the sufferings and save time and money.
BANBEIS Director Md Fashiullah chaired the function while Secondary and Higher Education Division Secretary Md Sohrab Hossain, Technical and Madrashah Education Division Md Alamgir addressed the function.
On the occasion, the minister distributed online EIIN number contained certificates among four educational institutions of Dinajpur, Comilla, Panchagarh and Netrokona districts through video conference.
