Uk Based Social Organization One Ummah UK provided food parcels to 1000 destitute and other helpless families on Monday aimed at easing their livelihood related hardships being caused by the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
One Ummah UK Representative distributed the humanitarian assistance in Dakshin Surma area in the Sylhet through maintaining social distancing and other protecting measures to stem the virus spreading.
Each of the families was given a food package containing 16 kilograms of rice, 10 kilograms of Potato, 6 kilogram of Onion, 6 kilogram of Pulses, 4 kilogram of Chulla, 2 kilogram of Solt, 1 kilogram of Data and 2 Liter of Oil.
“We have already distributed humanitarian assistance among 1,000 worst affected households in different areas of the Sylhet district,” said One Ummah Uk, Bangladesh Representative Anamul Kabir.
