A man was trampled by wild elephants at East Thekapara area under Langadu upazila of the district last night.
The victim was Ali Akbar, 45, son of Abdur Rahman of Boga Chhatar area of the upazila. Police said the Akbar came under attack by the wild elephants in the area while he was returning home through hilly passage. He died on the spot.
