In the Emergency Department of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, this first digital X-ray, ECG, Ultrasonography, Pathology lab and Casualty Operation Theater have been inaugurated with an emergency one stop service.
At 9 am , Hospital Director Brigadier General Nasir Uddin Ahmed formally inaugurated this service by cutting ribbons on Tuesday while, Principal of Mymensingh Medical College Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, VC Prof Dr. ANM Fazlul Haque Pathan, President, BMA Prof Dr. Matiur Rahman Bhuiyan, General Secretary Dr. Tra Golondaj, Deputy Director of the hospital. Laxmi Narayan Mazumdar, doctors and staff of different levels of the hospital and college were also present.
The hospital authorities said that the emergency one stop service in the hospital for providing 24 hours of emergency treatment to emergency patients has 21 beds and six day care facilities including pre operative and post operative wards.
One stop service has been given to nurses, paramedics and support staff including specialist doctors in medicine, gynecology, cardiology, pediatric surgery, pediatric, pediatric surgery and anesthesiology and incentive care unit. Sources of the hospital authorities said, in one stop service, casualties, including normal delivery and seizure, have operating facilities. Besides, patients with any problems including cardiac and respiratory problems.
including chest pain, will be provided with necessary medical check-up and medicines.
