Some unidentified terrorists shot dead a shopkeeper and one got bullet hit at Kushabaria bazaar under Sadar upazila on Tuesday night. The victim is identified as Rintu Hossain, 40 son of Kati Munshi of Marongi village under sadar upazila. The injured is Abdul Mozid son of Jharu Mondol of the same village. Officer- in-charge (OC) Shahbuddin Azad of Sadar police station said, at 8-30 pm on Tuesday night Rintu was returning home from Kushabaria bazaar riding on a motor bike. When he reached at the bridge in the middle of the village of Marongi some unidentified terrorists waylaid shot him dead on the spot and another cyclist got bullet hit. Rinto was a shopkeeper of Narikelbaria bazaar of the upazila, the OC added. On information police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Jhenidah sadar police station for autopsy.
