One person was murdered and ten others were injured in a clash in a simple matter at Ulipur upazila in Kurigram district on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses and local sources said, one Chand Miah of village Rupar Khamar of the upazila was going home with his peak up van.Some young men was sat by the road side at Amtoly area of Baraipara village exchamnged hot words with Chand Miah over giving side for the peak up van on the Eid day.
Following the incident, a bloody clash was erupted between the two villagers with local lethal weopans injuring ten persons.One injured person was taken to Ulipur Upazila Health Complex in a critical condition where the attending doctors declared him dead.
The deceased was identified as Mojib Uddin Moju 72 son of Khoimuddin of village Baraibari in the upazila.
