Benapole customs detectives seized one mound of lead worth about Tk 15 lakh searching the baggage of passport passenger on Tuesday.
Sadeq Hossain, assistant commissioner, customs detective branch, told that searching the baggage of India returnee passport passenger Emran Kabir of J/28/8, Gulshan Roar, Gulshan, Dhaka bearing passport number AaHri- 7825090, seized one mound of lead worth Tk 15 crore on Tuesday.
‘Lead is an import prohibited good,’ he added.
