Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two siblings along with 1 lakh Yaba tablets from Pahartali area of the port city recently.The arrestees were identified as Md Mobarak, 36, and his brother Md Salman, 23, sons of late Hazi Mohammad Eshak of BGB Camp (Mobaraker Bari) area in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive at AK Khan intersection around 12:10am and arrested the duo along with Yaba pills worth Tk 5 crore, Tk 25,090 in cash and a cheque for Tk 70,000, said Mimtanur Rahman, Assistant Director (media) of the elite force battalion.
