A six-year-old boy was killed and three others were injured in a road accident at city’s Sholoshahar area on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rasel, hailed from Charfashion upazila under Bhola district while the three injured were his family members.
Police said Rasel and three others were injured when a private car dashed the CNG-run auto-rickshaw carrying the victims at Mayor Lane of Sholoshahar area under city’s Panchlais Thana around 7am. The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the attending doctors declared Rasel dead, said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pankaj Barua of CMCH police outpost. The other injured were being treated at the hospital.
