A man, who was injured in an attack by his rivals over land-related dispute in Bypass area of Singra upazila on Thursday, died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Furkan Ali,65, son of late Abul Kashem of Singra municipality area.
Sub-inspector of Sadar Police Station Manir Hossain said Furkan was hacked by his rivals following a previous enmity on Thursday afternoon.
Later he was admitted to Pabna Sadar Hospital from where he was shifted to RMCH as his condition deteriorated.
He succumbed to his injures at about 8:00 pm on Friday.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Ahsanul Haque confirmed the death.
