One person was killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over establishing supremacy at Baraipara village in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Amirul Islam,50, a resident of the same village.
Officer-in-charge of Islami University Police Station Shafiqul Islam said there had been a dispute prevailing for long between Moynal Biswas and Sultan Biswas over establishing dominion in the area.
