A man was stabbed to death and three were serious injured by their rival groups at Karail village near the Dolleshari River in Adampur union under Austagram Upazila of Kishoreganj on Tuesday morning over fish catching and supremacy.
The victim was identified as Jahangir Alam (45), Son of Md. Momtaj Miah in Adampr area of Austagram upazila.
Austagram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Kamrul Islam said that, receiving on information, Police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body form the Dolleshar river.
The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj 250 Beded General Hospital mourge for autopsy.
The serious injured persons were admitted to local hospital.
Senior ASP of Austagram Circle Dipok Mujumder visited the spot.
