BSS, Faridpur :
One person was killed and five others received serious injury when Dhaka-bound passenger coach from Madaripur collided head-on with a microbus at Kalatala under Bhanga upazilla on Friday afternoon on Dhaka-Khulna highway.
The deceased was identified as Md Yunus, 50, owner of two shoe company ‘Liberty’ and ‘Abhilash’ . The injured were shifted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
According to highway police of the five injured three were identified as Sujan, 35, Salman, 26 and Fatiha Akhtar,5.
The deceased Md Yunus and all the injured five were traveling in the ill-fated micro-bus coming from Kwarakandi ghat.
A case was registered with Bhanga police in this connection.
