One person was killed and two otherswere injured in a road accident on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway in Satkania upazila of the district Thursday night, district police office sources said.
The victim was identified as Jahangir Alam, 55, son of NonaMia, hailing from Haziganj upazila in Chandpur district.Three persons including Jahangir were injured when a microbus
collided headed-on with a pickup van in front Manik member brick field at around 11-30pm last night.The injured persons were brought to Chittagong Medical College Hospital but the attending doctors declared Jahangir dead after admission . Injured Mostaq, 40 and Tareaq, 35 are undergoing treatment at CMCH, hospital police camp sources added.
