Chittagong Metropolitan Police in a drive arrested a youth with a foreign made pistol from Saripara area under Pahartali thana on Friday night.
The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Khurshed, 40, son of Joynal Abedin, hailing from Abu Torab area under Mirsari upazila of the district.
Based on secret information, a team of Pahartali Thana police arrested Khurshed from Saripara area under Pahartali thana at night.
Later, police recovered a foreign made pistol with four rounds of bullet after searching his body.
A case was filed, he said.
