Rangpur, Rapid Action Battalion RAB-13 arrested a man with 15 kg of cannabis, 30 bottles of Phensidy l and 2 bottles of foreign liquor. A press release signed by ASP Samuel Sangma, media officer of RAB-13 Rangpur, said on Tuesday morning that an expedition team set up a paved road in front of the gate of Rangpur Technical Training Center on the left side of Bogra to Rangpur-bound highway under Tajhat police station in Rangpur metropolis on Monday evening. While searching the New Safa transport vehicle, drug dealer Mohammad Aminul Islam (35) was arrested along with 15 kg of cannabis, 30 bottles of Fencidil and 2 bottles of foreign liquor.
He further said that during the preliminary interrogation, the arrested drug dealer had confessed to his involvement with the drug business for a long time. A covert investigation is underway against other drug dealers involved. RAB has filed a drug case against the accused at Tajhat police station in Rangpur metropolis and the accused has been handed over to the concerned police station.
