Chandgaon thana police of CMP rounded up one hijacker along with a pistol from Chandgaon area on Sunday evening. The hijacker identified as Jasim aged about 22 to 25, sources said. One pistol recovered from his possession. He hails from Sudharam upazila of Noakhali district. Chandgaon thana officer- in- charge Md Sairul Islam told that the hijacked was caught red handed while fleeing after snatching the pedestrians. Locals extend cooperation to police round up him from the area, sources said. A case under the acts of hijacking and arms have been filed with the concerned thana , sources added.
