Chittagong Metropolitan Police rounded up one Youth along with 5 thousand pieces of intoxicated Yaba tablets from Kotwali thana area yesterday morning. DB police of CMP acting on secret information conducted raid at Ansar club area in Patherghata under Kotwali thana and managed to apprehend Kabir Hossain(45) and recovered these yaba tablets from his possession. Kabir Hossain hails from Comilla district, sources said.
On primary interrogation, he confessed himself that he was involved with the trafficking of drugs since long. He admits that these yabas were brought from coxsbazar area aimed at selling in chittagong with high price. A case in connection was filed with the Kotwali thana under Narcotics act’s sources said.
