Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday arrested a man along with 40,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Naikhongpara in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
The arrestees were identified as Ismail, 26, son of Azimullah of Teknaf upazila, said press release issued Wednesday.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive in the area and seized a truck around 7:45 pm.
Later, the elite force recovered 40,000 pieces of Yaba pills worth Tk 2 crore from inside the truck and arrested Islamil.
