Narcotics Control Department(NCD) in a raid arrested a youth Yaba trader with 4,000 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from Textile Mill area under Pahartali thana in the port city on Tuesday morning.
The arrested was identified as Abdur Rashid, 32, hailed from Boalkhali upazila of the district. On a tip-off, a team of the NCD raided in the area at about 11 am and nabbed Rashid with the contraband drugs, an NCD source said.
A case was filed in this connection.
