Police rounded up one drug peddler from Reazuddin Bazar area in city near railway station on Wednesday early morning. The drug peddler identified as Md. Atiq (24) .
Police recovered 17500 pieces of intoxicated yaba tablets from his possession. Asstt Police commissioner of Kotwali zone Shah Md.Abdur Rouf told that acting on secret information, police conducted in a old building situated in Chaitanaya Galli of Reazuddin Bazar yesterday early morning.
Police rounded up Md. Atiq from a room of the building and recovered 17500 pieces of yaba and 200 gram yaba powder from his room. Sources said Atiq is an employee of the building who remained with the responsibility of godown keeper of the building.
