Police rounded up one drug peddler from Bakalia thana area in city yesterday morning alongwith a Noah micro .
The drug peddler identified as Md. Bashir ahmed (29 ) and son of Kalu Miah of Teknaf upazila under Coxsbazar district.
Acting on secret information, Bakalia thana police conducted raid in Shah Amant Bridge area at early morning and recovered 10 thousand pieces of yaba from his possession . These yaba tablets hidden inside the seats of the micro.
A case in connection under narcotics act filed before the concerned thana , sources said.
Body of missing child recovered from CEPZ area: Police recovered a body of one minor child from CEPZ area yesterday morning.
The child identified as Mim(4) , daughter of Md. Manik Miah. He hails from Gaibanda district. Victim Mim was missing from thrusday evening . Family sources said Mim came out from residence in the evening aimed at p laying game with other children of the area and did not back home .
Following her returning to residence, the guardian of the child informed the police immediately. Police sources said the body of the victim was found in the area next morning and accordingly informed to police immediately. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body who sent to morgue for autopsy.
Police sources said there were no injury mark in the body of Mim .
