Police arrested a NGO officer on charges of raping a domestic worker 17 Taherpur village in Monirampur upazila of Jashore district on Tuesday night.
Now the girl is pregnant in six months.
The arrestee rapist was identified as Golam Kibria 45 son of late Chand Ali Biswas of Asannagar village in Shailkupa upazila of Jhenaidah district.
H is the acting officer of the Rural Poverty Alleviation Foundation of Manirampur Upazila branch of the Jashore district. He was handed over to the court on Wednesday.
In the incident, The victim’s father filed a rape case with the Manirampur Police Station in the incident. Whose suit no-2
According to the case, Golam Kibria, married in Fateyabad village of Manirampur upazila, and rented a house in Taherpur village of the Upazila. His wife was a public service worker. The girl from Manirampur sador upazila was kept as a homeworker in kibria’s house before one year ago.
The victim has alleged that she has raped by Kibria for a long time by showing her various temptations in the absence of his wife. At one stage, when the girl became ill, she moved to her father’s house in this year.
The victim’s father said that my daughter was taken to Jessore’s clinic for treatment where’s the doctor said her daughter was about 6 months pregnant.
Then he went to Manirampur police station on yesterday night and filed a rape case. Police arrested Golam Kibria from the rent of Taharpur village on today early morning.
Police OC (Investigation) SM Enamul Haque said that Kibria was arrested on charge of raping a girl and he was sent to the court as well as the girl was sent for medical examination in police custody.
