A Kishoreganj court has sentenced a man to death, two people to life term imprisonment and one to 10-year in prison for killing a housewife.
Kishoreganj Additional District and Sessions Judge M Abdur Rahim passed the verdict on Thusday in presence of the accused.
The condemned convict is M Abu Taher, son of Insaf Uddin of Goboria village in Kuliarchar upazila.
Of the other convicts, Sirajul Islam and Mizanur Rahman awarded life imprisonment and Zillur Rahman was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment. They all residents of the same village.
The court, however, acquitted an accused, as his guilt was not proved.
