A fugitive terrorist was arrested at Dighirpar village in Sharsha upazila of the district last night.
The arrested was unidentified as Iqbal Hossen, 35, son of Wahab Ali at Boalia village in the upazila.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Benapole port Thana Apurbo Hasan told that on secret information, police raided the village at 8:30 pm and arrested him.
Seven cases including explosive, snatch were pending against him in Benapole Police Station, the OC added.
