One person has died in a power outage in Tarash of Sirajganj. The incident took place at Tarash Paschim Para in the municipality area of the upazila on Sunday morning.
It is learned that KM Firoz (37), son of Joynal Abedin of Penguari village in Baruhas Union, had to do earth work at the house of Nazrul Islam, a resident of Tarash Paschim Para in Tarash Municipality.
While working, he fell ill due to a spade interruption in the electricity meter wire. When the locals took him to the Sadar Hospital, the on-duty doctor Dr. Aman declared him dead.
Commissioner of Ward 2 of Tarash Municipality Bakul Hossain confirmed the death.
