Police rounded up one d rug peddler from Shah Amanat bridge area of Bakalia thana yesterday morning.
Police sources said on secret tip off, Bakalia thana police checked a Dhaka bound passenger coach of Star Line service at Shah Amanat bridge area at early 4 pm and rounded up Syed Alam alongwith 1000 pieces of yaba . Syed Alam is the son of late Hakim Sarif of Teknaf under coxsbazar district . Bakalia thana police said the drug peddler was bringing these intoxicated drugs from Coxsbazar aimed at selling these in Dhaka.
