One worker died and 100 others fell sick after drinking supply water at a garments factory in Bhogra Bypass area of the city on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Shahida.
The ailing workers were admitted to different local hospitals and clinics.
Sources said workers of Mass Trade International Garments Factory in Bhogra Bypass area started vomiting after drinking supply water at the factory in the morning.
Later, the workers were taken to different local hospitals and clinics.
Later, the RMG factory was declared closed for the day.
