One fisherman died and 10 others went missing after a fishing trawler capsized in Bay of Bengal near Cox’s Bazar on Friday morning.

Local sources said that a fishing trawler sank with 23 fishermen at 35 nautical mile westwards from Cox’s
Bazar around 7:30am on Friday, leaving one dead.
Nearby some fishing boats managed to rescue 12 but 10 others were traceless, said Coast Guard East Zone official Md Saiful Islam.
Two navy vessels including Oporajeyo’ continued rescue operation, Saiful added.
