One youth was chopped to death in Double mooring thana area in city on Wednesday last. The youth identified as Akkasuddin(30) , son of ledu Miah hails from Noakhali district. The incident occurred at Mannan colony of Doublemooring area .
ASI of Double Mooring thana Md. Fariduddin told that a number of miscreants chopped the victim indiscriminately and fled away from the colony area .
Later locals rushed him Chittagong Medical college Hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead, hospital sources said.
