Police of Sharankhola PS arrested one Shahbaz Khan (48) of village Chailabunia in Dhansagar Union under Sharankhola Upazila in the district and recovered a skin of a spotted deer of Sundarban forest from his house on Tuesday. Source said that acting on a secret information , a police squad of Sharankhola PS raided the house of Shahbaz Khan, son of one Majid Khan of village Chailabunia in the early hours on Tuesday, searched his house, recovered the skin from his kitchen and arrested him. In this connection a case was lodged with the local PS against the arrested person under Wild Life Preservation Act.
