Police arrested one leader of Jubo League, the youth wing of Awami League for his alleged involvement with murder of Sudipta Biswas, Assistant Secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League from the bus counter in the port city on Friday night.
The arrested is identified as Moktar Hossain (25). He is a leader of Jubo League at Lal Khan Bazar area in the port city. He is also a follower of Awami League leader Dr Afsarul Amin MP. Police said, acting on secret information, police raided the bus counter and arrested Moktar Hossain when he was leaving Chittagong for Barisal. Police also said that arrested Moktar was seen at the close circuit camera footage when he was going home of Sudipta on the date of murder of Sudiopta on October 6.
